One interesting thing you notice when you open-up the box containing your brand-spanking-new Kindle 2 is that there is no case to protect your new investment. To make things worse, the inner-packaging containing your Kindle 2 looks like a protective case!

Oh well -so that leaves you with the decison of which is the best case for your new Kindle 2. Case manufacturers must have been given the "heads-up" on the need for cases because there are a number of options out there from which you can choose.

One "logical choice" might be the  Amazon Kindle 2 Leather Cover- Amazon's own hard-back case for the Kindle. At $29.95 it's at a reasonable price point - especially since it is a leather case.
